So first, I have decided to tell you a little bit about myself in order to inform you of my knowledge in this particular area. I have been in a committed relationship for the past four years. I love my girl friend and I am sure that she loves me.
We meet during an internship at the Walt Disney Company about five years ago. When the internship was over, we decided to stay together. However, there was one challenge that we had to overcome. That's right distance.
She moved back to South Carolina and I moved back to Alabama. So, for the first three years were in a long distance relationship. So, that's just a little about me just so you know my opinion holds... a little credibility. So, without further a-du , let me tell you the purpose of this blog.
This blog is not intended to improve, separate or bring together any relationship. It's only purpose is to post my opinion because I believe I have learned a lot over the past five years and if my experience can help someone or a few people down the road, then by all means I am willing to do so. Please understand that my posts are my opinions. If you do not agree, that is well understood. If you wish to post that you do not agree please do so for the purpose of discussions, but by all means, make it tasteful and inviting.
Now, I am a God fearing man so please expect my comments to involve some type of Godly influence. No, not the bash you cross the head and tell you how wrong you are type Godly influence, nor the kind that makes you feel all bubbly on the inside. The kind that is honest and the kind we deal with on a day to day basis. Trying to make better decisions, understanding different perspectives, knowing that your partner does not need or want the same things as you and how to adjust. I do my best to be as honest as I can so I will do my best to be honest with you.
So, with that being said, the first post will come tonight and it is titles "close that door before you open this one." It will be posted by 12am. Thank you and I look forward to your comments.
